Services
Utilities Help
Assistance with utility bills to help stabilize your home. Our conference members can contact your utility company to avoid disconnection through payment plans or payments by our conference.
Rent Assistance
Support for rent payments to prevent eviction or homelessness. Our conference members will assist with negotiations with your property manager to avoid eviction and will also recommend to our conference if we should also supply funds.
Food Pantry
Access to food resources for individuals and families in need. https://htdallas.org/ht-food-pantry/. The food pantry’s hours are Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday 9-noon. Welcomes are accepted based upon availability. To register go in person with ID. Once registered you will be given a monthly appointment if not a senior. Seniors receive semi-monthly appointments.
The food pantry is on Gilbert off of Oak Lawn Ave. Park in the furthest parking lot and come around the Community Life Center to the door located near the handicapped parking. It is a small door around a round pillar. Ring the bell for admittance. If you have a handicapped sticker you can park right in front of the door.
